“Options, Instructional Practices and Trajectories of EAP and ESP Practitioners”
We are so happy that our 2nd International EAP/ESP Conference “Options, Practices and Possibilities of EAP and ESP Practitioners” at UOC.GR (on 20-23 September 2019) seemed to be a very gratifying endeavour for us organisers and an excellent networking opportunity for our delegates!
We would really like to thank all our delegates for their active participation, thought-provoking presentations and contributions! We would also like to thank our EAPCRETE team (Kallia Katsampoxaki-Hodgetts, Maria Koutraki, Noni Rizopoulou, Manolis Sisamakis) and our EAPCRETE2019 chair Kiki Divini for their tireless efforts, support and time towards this very successful event.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank our amazing 2019 Keynote speakers, Dr. Lisa McGrath and Dr. Ruth Breeze who had a strong rapport with the audience and delivered engaging keynote speeches with clear connections between EAP/ESP theory and practice.
The 2nd EAP Crete conference themes covered EAP and ESP practices and research such as academic literacies, genre pedagogies, critical thinking and metacognition. There was a great variety of training opportunities including an EAP Technology workshop, a Content-Based Instruction workshop and Creativity in EAP.
We now look forward to our 3rd EAPCRETE conference next year on 17-20 September 2020 #eapcrete
